Service Writer

Chase was born and raised in Williamston, Michigan, but spent many of his summers in Boyne City. He went to school at Grand Valley State for Psychology. Chase grew up constantly on and around boats and later became his family and friend’s de facto “boat guy”- trailering, captaining, and fixing. He owns a 32-foot sailboat with a friend. They recently took a six-day trip to sail from Monroe, Michigan up to Charlevoix. Chase is the proud “Uncle Chase” to SIX of the world’s cutest nieces and nephews. He loves sailing, skiing, playing music, and throwing said nieces and nephews in the lake!

• Favorite Boyne Boat Yard Projects: I love to troubleshoot issues and optimize organizational systems.
• Favorite 16 Acres Fundamental: #29- Find a Way. I love to dive headfirst into things knowing that I will “find a way” if I just keep calm and do it!
• Best Thing About Working at Boyne Boat Yard: Being around boats, water, and awesome people!
